My name is Andrew Jones. I was born and raised in Atlanta. I came to Richmond in 1996 to attend Virginia Commonwealth University. I developed a fascination about this great city and the historic architecture. My love of history and architecture led me to pursue a history degree. After graduating from VCU, I decided that I wanted to help save the historic architecture of Fan District homes and to create a career in the remodeling industry. I went to work with some of the best Design + Build Firms in Richmond and learned the business. In 2008 I founded James River Remodeling LLC. We have evolved into the company we are today. While we still like to do historical renovations, our focus is on kitchen and bath remodels, and the majority of our work is in the West End. Our core values that we stand by are to be honest, transparent, personable, while maintaining clear communication with the client and producing first class work.

Our team members are an essential part to our success. They are skilled in every aspect of remodeling. We work hard to attract the best of the best. We are proud of our people and we compensate accordingly. We do not employ people that would not be welcome in your home. Our mission is to make the client comfortable with our presence in their home, to show that we care and that we are professionals.

Away from the office, we are family men. I am grateful for my loving and supportive wife of 14+ years and our two wonderful children 11 and 9. We are the typical American family with busy schedules just like yourself. We can appreciate the time constraints and the daily responsibilities that most families have nowadays. We believe in the act of kindness, treating people fairly, equal opportunity, and being neighborly with one another. We want to become your go-to contractor for all your needs for decades to come.
